Jacob Hagan Drainage District Engineer

Jacob Hagan, P.E.

 Principal 

Jacob is a licensed professional engineer and Iowa State graduate who has spent his 12-year career working across  Iowa; handling repair and improvement reports, reclassifications, annexations, and construction administration. He lives on his family's farm near Bayard in Guthrie County with his wife and four children.

Tyler Buman Drainage District Engineer

Tyler Buman, P.E.

 Principal

Tyler is a licensed professional engineer with first-hand experience  on each aspect of open ditch and tile systems from survey to completion.  He earned his degree in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University and grew up on his family's century farm west of Harlan in Shelby County. He lives in Woodward with his fiancée.

Shelby Meeker Drainage District Engineer

Shelby Meeker, E.I.T

Water Quality Specialist 

Shelby holds a master's degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from South Dakota State University and a bachelor's degree in Agronomy from Iowa State University. Her experience includes wetland design, water quality, bioreactors, and conservation practices. She lives near Maxwell with her family.

Brett Ingraham Drainage District Engineer

Brett Ingraham

Field Specialist

Brett brings more than 25 years of experience in agricultural drainage construction as a drainage tile and ditch contractor. His extensive field knowledge provides valuable insight during project planning and construction. He lives on an acreage near Kamrar where he is involved in a farming operation.

Randy Grimes 

Field Specialist

Prior to joining AgriVia, Randy spent 15 years in construction, digging open ditches and installing large storm sewer and tile drainage systems. Now a full-time farmer in Harrison County, he approaches each job site as if it were his own farm, ensuring the work is completed properly and according to the plans.

 

Join our Team

We are looking for a versatile team member (Engineer, Technician, Drafter, etc.) who is ready to dive in. Experience is a plus, but we will help train and guide the right person. If you have passion, curiosity, and pride in your work, those are more important to us than a long resume.

Compensation & Growth

  • Salary: Competitive base pay based on experience.
  • Profit Sharing: We are looking for a long-term fit. After a period, you can become eligible for quarterly profit-sharing of up to 20% for the right candidate.
  • Benefits: 25 days of all-purpose PTO (includes holidays/sick/vacation).
  • We do not offer health insurance at this time, but we structure our compensation to allow you the flexibility to manage your own.
